Terms of Service

Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials secure.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your country of residence.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account, including memories your Family Circle members contribute if your plan grants them a role.

Your Content

• You own the memories, photos, videos, voice recordings, and messages you upload.
• You give Evernest permission to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you and the family members you choose to share it with.
• You confirm you have the right to upload and share the content you add, and that it doesn't violate someone else's rights.
• Content submitted by a guest contributor (someone without an Evernest account) is governed by the Guest Contribution Terms.

Acceptable Use

Evernest is a place for genuine family memories. Follow our Community Guidelines and don't use the service to harass anyone, impersonate another person, upload unlawful content, or attempt to access another person's account or family circle without authorization.

Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans, billing cycles, cancellation, downgrades, and payment-failure handling are covered in full in our Subscription Terms.

Family Circles and Shared Content

Evernest is built around sharing memories with people you trust. When you invite someone to your Family Circle or share a memory with a visibility setting broader than "Private," the people it's shared with can view it for as long as it exists and they remain a member. Removing a member from a Family Circle stops their future access; it does not retroactively un-share memories they already viewed outside Evernest (for example, if they saved a copy).

Canceling Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Account Control. What happens to your memories, Echoes, Family Circle, and subscription when you do is explained in full — with the specific consequences shown to you — before you confirm. Our Data Retention Policy explains how long data is kept afterward.

Service Availability

We work to keep Evernest available and your memories safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We recommend keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable, and our Download My Data tool makes that easy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Evernest evolves. Material changes will update the version recorded against your account the next time you accept them, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use Evernest after a change means you accept the updated terms.
