Guest Contribution Terms

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Evernest allows you to contribute memories to another person's or family's Evernest collection without creating an Evernest account. A contribution may include a text message, photo, audio recording, video recording, or other supported content.

Your Content

  • You continue to own the content you create and submit.
  • By submitting content through Evernest, you give Evernest permission to store, process, copy, display, and deliver your contribution to the Evernest user or family collection you were invited to contribute to.
  • If the recipient or organizer accepts your contribution, it may remain in their Evernest collection for a long period of time or permanently, unless it is later removed.

Your Permission to Share

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You created the content or have permission to share it.
  • You have permission to share any photos, videos, audio, or other material included in your contribution.
  • Your submission does not violate another person's privacy, copyright, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights.
  • You are not pretending to be another person.

Content You May Not Submit

Do not use Evernest to submit content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
  • Threatens, harasses, abuses, or seriously harms another person.
  • Contains hateful or discriminatory content.
  • Contains sexually exploitative or otherwise unlawful material.
  • Impersonates another person.
  • Contains malware, scams, spam, or fraudulent information.
  • Contains copyrighted material that you do not have permission to share.
  • Violates another person's privacy.

Review and Removal

  • Submitting a contribution does not guarantee that it will become part of the recipient's Evernest collection.
  • The organizer or recipient may accept, reject, report, or remove a contribution.
  • Evernest may also restrict or remove content that violates these terms, our policies, or applicable law.

No Account Required

Submitting a guest contribution does not create an Evernest account and does not give you access to the recipient's private Evernest collection.
